This last Tuesday I woke up humming that old Eagles song ‘Take it Easy’. It was a cooler than normal day here in Las Vegas, the sun made a brief appearance while I drank my coffee and had a chat with my resident backyard hummingbird. I was taking it very easy. I had a wedding to shoot that afternoon, and not just any wedding. An impromptu and small, yet nonetheless beautiful wedding.

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing this celebration at Red Rock Canyon and this couple was not just any couple. They were amazing to me and brought such joy to my Tuesday afternoon. Less than a week after the proposal, they were flying across an ocean to exchange vows in a setting that truly spoke to both of them. The bride wore Converse, and the groom wore flip flops. I love all of their images, but for me, this one really captured the spirit of their day.
