One of the best kept secrets in Vegas is our dry lake beds. There are lots to choose from, but I have one that is my personal favorite. It's a quick 40-minute drive from the Strip, and totally worth every minute of travel. The vast expanse of nothingness puts absolute focus on you and yours. There isn't a single distraction - just divine light, exquisitely cracked lakebed under your feet, and the beautiful desert haze in the air. If you're willing to get a little dusty, a trip to the dry lakebed just might be in your future. Be aware that the wind at this location can be wild and sometimes unrelenting, so if you’re the type that wants every hair in place, it might not be for you. But if you’re the type that goes with the flow, please do step right up for an experience unlike any other.
